Straightforward, in plain language — what we collect, why, and how to reach us if you have questions.
Last updated: July 21, 2026
Through the community survey, we collect: sport(s) and level(s) officiated, season game volume and years of experience, age range and gender, self-reported habits around nutrition, supplements, and recovery, self-reported physical and mental demands of the job, and open-ended written responses. If you choose to leave an email address to receive aggregate results, we collect that too. Through the Contact page, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message.
Survey responses are used to understand the physical and mental demands officials face, and to develop and share content and best practices based on what respondents tell us. If you've left an email address, we use it only to send you the aggregate community results once available, or to reply to a message you've sent us. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build individual profiles for marketing purposes.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share individual survey responses with any third party. Aggregate, de-identified findings (for example, "62% of officials reported X") may be shared publicly or with partners. Our infrastructure providers process and store data on our behalf solely to operate the site — they are service providers, not recipients of your information for their own purposes.
To ask questions about this policy, or to request that we correct or delete information you've submitted, contact us through the Contact page. Providing survey responses and an email address is always optional.
We do not track visitors across other websites for advertising purposes. Because we don't use that kind of tracking, Do Not Track browser signals don't change how the site behaves.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
This page will be expanded with more detail as our practices grow — reach out through the Contact page any time if you have a question this page doesn't answer.
